Children benefit from:
- A nurturing, age‑appropriate learning environment
- Experienced and caring staff
- Structured activities that encourage curiosity and growth
- A setting grounded in respect, dignity, and compassion
A Supportive Environment for Children
The Center plays an essential role in supporting CSM’s student parents, particularly those participating in the Mothers Living & Learning Program. By offering on‑campus childcare, Spellman helps reduce barriers to education and allows parents to focus on their studies knowing their children are well cared for nearby.
Learning Through Experience
As part of CSM’s academic mission, the Spellman Child Development Center also serves as a learning site for students in education and related programs. Through supervised, hands‑on experiences, students gain practical skills while contributing to a caring and enriching environment for children.
