Keeping Our Community Safe
We want all of our students, faculty, staff and visitors to be safe on our campus. Thatโs why we provide 24/7 campus security. We patrol the campus regularly, enforce College of Saint Mary policies and continually assess our safety and security practices, policies and requirements.
Campus Safety Information
All campus officers are trained to respond to emergencies, including fires, medical situations, and criminal activity. We work closely with local law enforcement, fire departments, and EMS personnel to ensure a coordinated response.
Officers regularly patrol campus on foot, by bicycle, and in motorized carts. Additional safety programs include the Whistler alert system, fire safety initiatives, and the Clean Car campaign.
Campus facilities are secured, monitored, and routinely patrolled. After hours, access to buildings requires a valid College of Saint Mary ID.
We are pleased to offer text alerts to all students, faculty and staff in case of inclement weather, campus emergencies, safety alerts and necessary all-campus announcements. Students will have the opportunity to sign up once enrolled.
The College of Saint Mary Safety and Security Department personnel will escort students, faculty, staff and visitors on campus at any time to/from their vehicles to/from any location on campus.
Title IX
College of Saint Mary seeks to maintain a safe learning, living, and working environment for students, faculty, administrators, staff, and visitors that is free of all forms of unlawful discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct.
